INTRODUCTION TO PHOTOGRAPHY
Sunday, September 23rd 10am-4pm
This course is designed for students who have a digital SLR or mirrorless camera (i.e., one that allows you to change lenses) and have little to no experience working with it outside of the automatic modes. We will talk about the basics of the camera and photography, you will learn how to use the camera in manual mode, when to select certain lenses, and how to take great photos in a variety of lighting situations.

CREATIVE PHOTOGRAPHY
September 24th - October 29th
Six-week course starting Monday September 24th. This course is for individuals who have a basic understanding of photography and are able to use their camera in manual mode. Each week students will be given an assignment that we will review as a group the following week. The goal of this course is to explore different approaches to photography, become more familiar with the details that make a good photo, and to learn how to critique your own work in order to improve your skills.

PORTRAIT PHOTOGRAPHY WORKSHOP
Sunday November 4th, 10am-4pm
A full-day workshop focused on learning how to take great photos of people. We will cover posing, composition, working with natural light outdoors and with continuous lighting in the studio, and how to interact with your subjects and guide them through a shoot.
Experience with operating your camera in manual mode is preferred but not required.
